1. The initial tension of the conveyor belt is too small. Insufficient tension at the point where the conveyor belt leaves the pulleys causes the conveyor belt to slip. This kind of situation usually occurs when starting. The solution is to adjust the tensioning device and increase the initial tension.
2. The friction between the drive roller and the conveyor belt is not enough to cause slipping. The reason for it is mostly because there is water or rings on the conveyor belt.

3. The bearing of the tail roller is damaged and does not rotate or the bearing of the upper and lower rollers is damaged and does not rotate too much. The reason for the damage is that the tail fluctuates too much, and the damaged or inflexible parts are not repaired and replaced in time, which increases the resistance and causes skidding.
4. If the starting speed is too fast, it will also cause slippage. You can start slowly at this time. If a squirrel cage motor is used, it can be restarted after jogging twice, which can also effectively overcome the slipping phenomenon.
5. The load on the conveyor belt is too large, and it will slip if it exceeds the capacity of the motor. The advantage of slipping at this time is that it protects the motor. Otherwise, the motor will be burned after a long time. But for operation, it is a skidding accident.
